The AACB acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land where we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.

The AACB recognises the unique role of Māori as Tangata Whenua and embraces Te Tiriti o Waitangi, recognising Māori rights to tino rangatiratanga in Aotearoa/New Zealand, and embracing the three guiding principles of the Treaty – Partnership Participation and Protection. We will endeavour to implement bicultural policies and practices that incorporate and value Māori cultural concepts, values and practices.
