Speaker: A/Prof Katie Wynn (Clinical Endocrinologist, Newcastle NSW)
A/Professor Katie Wynne is a Staff Specialist in Endocrinology & Diabetes at John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle; Clinical Chair of the Hunter Medical Research Institute ‘Equity in Health and Wellbeing’ program; and Program Convenor for the Joint Medical Program, University of New England and University of Newcastle, New South Wales. A/Professor Wynne graduated from Cambridge University and Kings College London. She holds a PhD from University of London. She has a sub-speciality interest in transgender medicine, is on the AusPATH Executive Committee, the NSW Health Transgender Clinical Advisory board, and is the subject matter expert for the NSW/ACT HealthPathways for transgender health.
