The 2015 subscription cost is AU$205.00 (this represents a discount of $270* which is only available to AACB members).
Please note: renewals MUST be made before 31 October 2014 as the first issue will be dispatched from the UK in January 2015. Similarly, new subscribers need to complete payment by the end of October 2014 for the January - December 2015 editions as this is when we submit the list to the UK.

The AACB (as a member of the IFCC) has been offered a special online subscription rate to the highly regarded Clinica Chimica Acta.
For AU$50 members will be provided with a 12 month online subscription (a significant saving compared to AU$720 for an individual print 12 month subscription!)

Reduced Rates for Annual Subscriptions

Section 16(ii) of the AACB by-laws provides for the annual subscription fee to be reduced to 60% of that otherwise payable provided that the applicant has an income of less than $33,000 a year (as of 2014) OR is residing overseas for at least one year OR has ceased either temporary or permanent employment OR is not ordinarily resident in Australia or New Zealand OR is no longer employed in the practice of pathology, but who are employed in another field and wish to maintain contact with the AACB and professional colleagues.
Overseas members will automatically attract a reduced rate, which will be applied to the subscription renewal.

Retired Membership

Financial members of greater than five years standing who retire from the workforce are encouraged to continue their membership of the AACB as a Retired Member.

From 2014/2015 Retired Members are no longer required to pay membership fees and will retain full access to the AACB Member Services and online resources (including online Clinical Biochemist Reviews). A subscription fee of $110 is however payable if a hardcopy of the Clinical Biochemist Reviews is preferred.
