Current projects

The AACB continues to introduce new services for members and advocate for your profession. New projects completed over the last twelve months include:

Update of our constitution, corporate governance and structure

Completion and launch of the new Lab Tests Online website and database

Delivered a Laboratory Management Course in conjunction with the University of New South Wales

Implemented new software to host the monthly webinars

Formed new Haemolysis and Fluids Working Parties

Achieved ratification for a number of Adult and Paediatric Reference Intervals for the most commonly requested clinical chemistry analytes

New Projects already underway for 2015/2016 include:

Review of the AACB website in addition to an update to a mobile tablet friendly version

Introduce options for members to join Special Interest Groups (e.g. Endocrine, TDM/Toxicology, Management/Harmonisation)

Provide complimentary member access to current and past Chemical Pathology Course Notes

Introduce a quarterly payment option for membership subscriptions

Adding a new discounted journal subscription option to Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (CCLM)
