REGISTRATION

All prices are quoted in Australian dollars and include GST. It is essential for all participants to complete the registration form and pay in full prior to the Conference. Register online below or download the registration form.

Note: The Conference Registration fee does not include the Satellite Meetings. These are an additional cost. Day and Student registrations do not include the Social Functions. Additional costs apply.

Student registration - to be eligible for the student rate, delegates must either be a student member or engaged in full time academic study, provide their student number on the registration application form and a copy of their student card. A letter supporting their status from the head of their department may also be requested. This registration type excludes the Industry Gala Function & Conference Dinner. If you wish to attend these social events, you may purchase tickets during the registration process.

*Retired Members Day – Tuesday 12 September 2017
The Conference Organising Committee are pleased to include a Retired Members Day complimentary to all retired AACB Members. This is on the day of the David Curnow Plenary Lecture which is on Tuesday 12 September 2017. *If Retired Members wish to attend the full conference, we are pleased to offer a discounted retired registration fee of $385 early bird or $435 standard. (Refer to entitlements below)

REGISTRATION DESK

All delegates must collect their badge and registration pack from the registration desk on arrival.

  • Tuesday 12 September - 0730-1800
  • Wednesday 13 September - 0730-1700
  • Thursday 14 September - 0830-1600

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT

  • Online registration is strongly encouraged. You can register online or complete the hardcopy Registration Form and return with the required payment to Conference Logistics.
  • Registration Forms must be accompanied by payment of the registration fees and accommodation deposit. If you are registering online, a secure online form is available for credit card transactions.
  • Credit Cards accepted include Visa, MasterCard, Diners or Amex. Note: Diners & Amex will attract a 3% surcharge which will be automatically charged and included in your total payment.
  • All amounts are in Australian Dollars and include 10% GST. Overseas registrants should arrange payment by bank draft or money order payable in Australian Dollars at an Australian bank.
  • Delegates will receive a confirmation email which includes the receipt and tax invoice.
  • Cheques or bank drafts should be made payable to "AACB”.

All registration and function payments must be received prior to the Annual Scientific Conference. If payment is not received by 25 August 2017 your registration may be cancelled. Onsite registration will be available and payment must be made at the time of registration.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations of attendance must be made in writing to Conference Logistics.

  • A full refund, less a cancellation fee of $100 will be made on those received before 1 July 2017.
  • A refund of 50% of the registration fee will be made on cancellations received between 1 July and 31 July 2017.
  • No refund will be made after 1 July 2017.
  • All refunds will be paid after the conclusion of the Conference.

GOODS & SERVICES TAX

A Tax Invoice will be issued with the receipt of registration. Unless otherwise requested in writing at the time of sending the registration enrolment form, the Tax Invoice will be in the name of the delegate. For international visitors, a tax refund may be sought at the airport for goods which are taken with them in their hand luggage when leaving the country. A tax refund is not available for goods or services consumed in Australia and therefore the GST component of conference registration fees, accommodation, tours, etc are not claimable.
