Re: Point of Care Pathology Testing
The Australasian Association of Clinical Biochemists (AACB) is seeking your feedback on Point of Care Testing (PoCT). The PoCT Working Party of the AACB acknowledges the increasing interest in point of care testing and has recently finalised a Position Statement on PoCT, to be published in the August CBR.
The Working Party now aims to establish a database of PoCT activities across Australasia and we need your help to do this. Feedback from the survey will be used to map the use and growth of PoCT across the region and will assist us to plan the level and type of support activities that could be provided by the AACB in the future. If you are interested in having your name placed on our database so we can inform you of any AACB PoCT activities (eg PoCT policy statements, PoCT educational meetings, PoCT educational materials) please let us know by contacting the AACB Office (Phone: 08 93705224, Fax: 08 93704409, Email: email@example.com).
The survey includes some questions about
- your organisation and its geographic location;
- the type of point of care tests, if any, undertaken by your organisation; and
- your involvement, if any, in quality management activities.
All responses will remain anonymous unless you choose to provide your details or want to be kept informed of activities of the AACB PoCT Working Party.
Thank you for your assistance in completing the survey.
