National Workforce Survey
The Department of Health and Ageing is about to undertake a snapshot survey of the national pathology laboratory workforce which is intended to cover all service delivery personnel groupings in public & private medical pathology testing laboratories throughout Australia. It will provide the first ever comprehensive national insight into the structure of the current national pathology workforce and is likely to assist all jurisdictions and professional groups in assessing and addressing pathology workforce requirements for future service demand.

The survey is anticipated to "go live" on 23 April 2010 for a period of two weeks.
