Media & Communications
The Media and Communications Committee oversees the production of print publications and educational multimedia across the AACB. As well as providing educational benefits to the members and subscribers, these publications also provide opportunities for the membership to make scientific contributions both nationally and internationally.
The Clinical Biochemist Reviews
is an international journal of Metabolic, Molecular and Laboratory Medicine, specialising in Reviews. The Clinical Biochemist Reviews appears quarterly and contains articles that cover educational, scientific and philosophical topics in clinical biochemistry, and bibliographies on specific subjects. Each year, a supplement to the Reviews contains abstracts of the scientific papers presented at the Annual Scientific Conference. Articles appearing in the Clinical Biochemist Reviews also now appear on PubMed. An Archive of abstracts and full text articles is also available on this website.
The Clinical Biochemist Newsletter
is produced quarterly and contains industry relevant feature articles, reports, and updates on all Branch and National scientific, professional and social activities. The Newsletter also includes information on upcoming AACB Educational events, discussion and updates on trends affecting the industry, as well as news, book, journal and software reviews. It also provides news of members, and scholarship application forms.
The Clinical Biochemist Monograph
is published following each Advanced Workshop conducted by the Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Committee. Each issue provides members with comprehensive state-of-the-art technical papers and reviews on the topic by the invited experts who participated in the hands-on workshop.
All of the above publications are supplied free to members and Affiliates of the Association at the time of publishing.
